Poland? Making it seem the world is more pro-Hamas than it is

Preparing a collation of “X” posts about pro-Hamas demonstrations around the world, I added this one of Poland to the collection. But when I searched for pro-Israeli demonstrations for a separate collation, I realized there was something wrong. First let us look at the post uploaded by a Jordanian medical health professional (as per his “X” profile):

And then I came across this post, which shows a violent pro-Hamas demonstration in France and compares it with a multi-faith get-together in Warsaw praying for peace:

When I realized there might be a problem, I took a screenshot of the first post in case Moath turns out to be  a fake news distributor and decides that promoting fake news is shameful (although nobody else who promotes fake news seems to feel ashamed of doing it). Then I searched specifically for pro-Hamas demonstrations in Poland.

This is what I found:

Therefore, I knew I had to find what the video above was really about — I started to search the web for images of other videos showing this same crowd. I soon discovered that it was most likely an opposition rally held two weeks before Poland’s elections that were held on 15 October, five days ago. I found still photos on news sites and examined them closely to compare them with the video uploaded by @moath_shawabkah.

Finally, I got the brilliant idea to search “X” for the term “opposition demonstration Poland” and I found the exact same video as that supposedly of a massive pro-Hamas demonstration. Note that pre-election video was uploaded on 1 Oct, six days before the torture, massacre, and abduction of Israelis in southern Israel.

Ironically, I browsed through the @DD_Geopolitics account and discovered that it is actually pro-Hamas and anti-Israel so they probably do not mind that their post has been exploited by a like-minded individual.

Poland has a very small Moslem population — numbering fewer than 1% of the population (compared with France with 8-10% Moslems). Some Poles believed that would prevent displays of hate-speech and demonstrations against the Jewish state. However, according to Notes from Poland, there were two simultaneous demonstrations (one pro-Israel and one pro-Hamas) in Warsaw on 11 Oct with a total of about 500 protesters altogether. Not exactly the empty square posted by @JackPosobiec on 14 Oct but also not a massive demonstration.

A relatively large pro-Hamas demonstration did take place in Krakow.

We have to be careful of what we believe online. Even though Poland, with its very small Moslem population, is not immune to public displays of the wish to sacrifice the Jews and the Jewish state on the altar of a-better-world-without-us, nothing nearing the size and energy of the domestic political demonstration took place on her soil in response to the war Israel needs to wage against Hamas.
